Recurring injuries, pain, imbalance, and stiffness during training and daily activity is not normal.
They’re signals you need to retrain how you move.
RE:TRAIN helps people who have tried countless systems, therapies, and programs, and are tired of the recurring injury-rehab cycle. They've done everything right, but the same issues keep returning.
It's not simply bad luck, or just part of aging. It's a systems problem, and we retrain your systems and your movement – the right way.
THE INJURY-REHAB CYCLE ENDS HERE

A Different Kind of Training
RE:TRAIN is for people who want strength, performance and longevity – without sacrificing their joints, nervous system, or future.
We don't chase exhaustion.
We don't train through warning signals.
We believe progress doesn’t come from overriding your body. It comes from listening to it.
Instead, we train with precision, awareness, and respect for how your body actually adapts.
Find out what life is like on the other side of pain and limitation.

How It Works
1. Apply for training.
Fill out the Application Form, or if you're unsure if RE:TRAIN is right for you, go through our Self-Assessment Guide (and free workbook) to help you make your decision.
You can also schedule a RE:TRAIN Consult Call to meet with Benjamin and ask questions first-hand.
2. Get a plan
Our initial sessions will include thorough assessments to develop your custom program, along with supervised instruction of prescribed movements. We'll discuss your background, goals, and training options that suit you best.
3. Make sustainable progress
As you improve your capacity for efficient movement, we'll continually increase the level of challenge without running you into a wall. We'll adjust for whatever life throws our way to make sure you feel supported on your journey.

Here's what our clients
have to say...
Sierra D.
"I feel stronger than I did years ago and I feel more confident in my ability to try things again"
Aleks G.
"I've been through the medical system and done every test possible and countless treatments that didn’t work, I can say without a doubt everybody could use someone like Ben. He helped me push myself to do things that I 100% thought I couldn’t do.
"Ben has shown and inspired ideas in me that I can take into my everyday life, to keep working on even when we are not training."
Jeremy V.
"I have been moving around a lot better and seen athletic improvements in my kickboxing, others have noticed it too."
Ella B.
"It's like getting a manual for how to operate more comfortably and effectively in your body."
Orla F.
"The sessions became more challenging with each week which I really enjoyed and found muscles I didn’t know I had and muscles were reawakened that were ‘asleep’ for a very, very long time. "
"It was absolutely eye opening how such tiny movements could have such an impact. These movements and exercises I have incorporated into my daily life and continue to see improvements in strength, stability and posture."
Ryan S.
"My case is very complicated, in chronic pain with lots of symptoms, and lots of things wrong with my posture, gait, movements etc. Lots of people, practitioners and doctors have dismissed me over the years, or were afraid to treat me, but he viewed me as a challenge and was eager to work with me. Has gone above and beyond to try to get me moving and feeling better, and every session pushes me to reach new plateaus."
Maritess E.
"It changed my perspective on how your body can do so much. I can honestly say that I am in the happy zone again running and able to play soccer without feeling the annoying pain on my knees."
Matt L.
"I have fractured my L3 in football, and currently have two herniated disks in my neck. He has helped me alleviate the pain of these existing injuries."
Caleb C.
"He has great attention to detail and has provided me with the tools to listen to my body and figure out what it needs in a given context. I believe anyone would benefit from his services regardless of fitness level or experience."
Chasing strength without improving movement quality leads to breakdown.
Benjamin Thornton, RE:TRAIN Founder
Kinesiologist/Personal Trainer
RE:TRAIN wasn’t built to help people work harder, it was built to help people stop breaking down.
Over the years I noticed clients sought my services after doing everything “right” — training consistently, staying active — yet they were still dealing with persistent pain, recurring injuries, and stiffness.
Their problem wasn’t effort. It was approach.
Traditional training can become a box people are forced work in, while the results they desire can only be found outside of it. Rehab often stops once pain is gone, but doesn't go far enough into creating the resilience needed to prevent re-injury.
RE:TRAIN was created from working "outside the box" in order to help myself and others get the most from their effort.
By retraining movement first, then layering strength intelligently, clients don’t just get out of pain — they learn how to prevent the injury-rehab cycle.
My mission is simple:
Help people trust their bodies again.
